2026 is here and we’re determined to make this one count for JR!
There have been many times over the years that we’ve attempted to ramp things back up again and inevitably life has gotten in the way and the months go past without any progress. So this year, we’re taking a different approach…almost a “Fake it ’til you make it” attitude, in that we’ve just been decisive about putting dates in the calendar, picking an activity and then once it’s on the website, we’ve got no choice but to make it happen…right?!
So far so good, we’ve done a low key New Years Day ride and our most recent event, the trip to Manchester’s snow dome, The Chill Factore.
What are JR Events, I hear you say?
Jackrabbitt is intended to be a community of like-minded people who want to get out and do stuff. But we all know how difficult it can be to get past not only the busyness of YOUR every day life but the busyness of your pals lives too! We’ve all had those group chats that attempt to find a suitable date that everyone is free to get out on the bike or go for a surf etc, only to find that 6 months has passed and you’re still putting out new polls because Bob now has to navigate a parents evening and Sarah’s in-laws have just announced they’re coming to visit!
But what if you knew that AT LEAST once a month, there was something happening that meant you could just rock up at a place and time organised by someone else and then hang out with other people who are all into the same things you are? There are so many crossovers between different adventure sports, and so many potential opportunities to try new things too and we love making those links and opportunities happen! So we’re back and we can’t wait to get faces together, old and new!
We’ve got lots of exciting things in the pipeline, but trying not to get ahead of ourselves just yet, so for now…check out our events page for the monthly adventures and hopefully we’ll see you there!
